Changing how you receive our decisions circular

As part of our ongoing work to make sure the information we share with you is secure and up to date, we’re making some changes to how you receive our decisions circular.

In 2018, in addition to the circular you receive, we started posting decisions about doctors’ fitness to practise on the new responsible officer (RO) dashboard. 

From 1 June 2019, we’ll no longer send out the decision circular by and you’ll need to log into your Communitybaptistpa Connect account to access this information.

We’re taking this step to make sure the information we share is secure and our processes comply with data protection regulation. We also know that the volume of s you receive can be an issue so hope this will help you to access the most up-to-date information when it’s convenient for you. 

To find the decisions circular:

  • Log onto Communitybaptistpa Connect in the normal way. 
  • Go to the ‘Dashboards tab’ located along the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Click on the tab called ‘Decisions circular’ and a table will appear. This report can be exported to PDF or Excel for your convenience.

Other updates to Communitybaptistpa Connect

We recently had some feedback on how we could make it easier for you to let us know if a doctor connected to you passes away.

We’ve now added our death notification form to Communitybaptistpa Connect so that you and your teams can access this, should you need to. You’ll find this in the ‘guidance and forms’ section of . 

Completing the form as soon as possible means that we can quickly process this information and make sure we don’t send any further communications to the doctor concerned.

If you don’t have a Communitybaptistpa Connect account or if it’s lapsed, please contact [email protected] from your RO address. You’ll need to provide the details of which designated body you require access to, and we’ll provide instructions on what to do next.
